A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

I am the VP of Service Delivery for Netgate. You may recognize one of our products – pfSense. I manage a team of engineers spread throughout the world who strive daily to make Netgate the best place in the world to work!

Former gigs include two stints at Dell, some time at UUNET (before and after the Worldcom merger), Wayport (now AT&T) and leadership positions at Time Warner Cable, Trion Worlds, and Trustwave.
